No, it means the same 1000 limit for public photos, but only 50 for non-public.50 non- public photos..... so that means absolutely 0 public photos without a paid account. They can go suck an egg. I was kinda hoping to utilize it more in the future. Maybe if I start making some money from my photos again someday.
3) use flickr to share more than 1000 photos publicly.
Is that what blog posts are for?@MattKing Ooooohhhh. The blog post made it sound like they were practically neutering everything.
Is that what blog posts are for?. That why we have Matt to keep things grounded in his post pentaxuser

I received an email from Flickr today notifying of upcoming changes. Free accounts will be limited to 50 photos.
In defense of everybody who misread the information, the syntax of "photos over the 50 non-public photo limit" is clunky at best."The above changes mean that for free accounts, photos over the 50 non-public photo limit or any moderate or restricted photos will be at risk of deletion."
I am amazed how many people have totally misinterpreted the Flickr announcement, assuming it means they are going to be booted off the platform if they don't pay. Doesn't anybody READ anymore??
MattKing provided all the clarification you need, above.
