All the Flexbody was intended to do is tilt the plane of focus, using Scheimpflug's trick.
Since the film rotates within the lens' image circle, there is no risk of running into coverage problems.
Provided that you do not mistake the fact that it also offers a shift control to mean that it is intended to do 'serious' shifts.
If you need a camera for architecture and such, the Flexbody is not a good choice. Do you want to make better use of the plane of focus in landscape and close up shots, it's very good.
