Flash for SX-70

I'm pretty impressed by the generation 3 impossible project film, so I was thinking about getting a flash for my camera (SX-70) but cannot decide which type: over the lens, lateral with a bracket or detached?
What do you suggest?

I usually use the over the lens flash bar, the disposable bulb type.

Impossible sells an electronic flash bar for the SX-70 that's made by Mint and works fine.

how does this works with the 600 film? if you put it in half-mode will is it possible to use the 600 film in whatever circumstance and getting the right exposure? does it trick the camera for the right exposure or do you still need a nd filter in bright sunny light?

I'm guessing that if you use 600-series film in an SX-70, flash or no flash, you're going to have to use a ND filter.

I think that, with the 600-series film, the flash output is reduced by some factor. The instruction cardboard clearly states that no ND filter is required.
However, I don't know how this trick could work in broad daylight.
