FL-D filter for b&w film?

Has anyone used an FL-D filter (the one meant to compensate for fluorescent lighting when using daylight-balanced color film) as a contrast filter for b&w? It's a light pink filter, so I'm thinking it will behave similarly to a weak orange filter.

-) depending on the manufacturer there are different FL-D filters.
The `D´ indicates daylight-type of film, but the equivalent colour temperature of the FL-tube can be indicated too, which means of course different absorbtions of those FL-D filters.

-) FL-D filters are magenta or even blue filters, NOT red or orange filters.

-) the FL-D by B&W (the only one they offer) is magenta, a bit like a CC-20M, but with a density-peak a bit more towards the cyan side and, more important, a much lower steepness.
