Fixing an old 5x7" film holder

I just bought a bunch of old, wooden 5x7" film holders. One of them is loose at the mortise and tenon on the end where the ends flip out to accept film. If you pull on either side they slide out just a bit. Just enough to make me worry about light leaks. I'm thinking to slip some glue in there but I'm not thinking about elmers. It's a very slim entry point for the glue so i need a glue that will work itself in easily and will bond wood to wood. Something with a very fine applicator tube. Anyone have any idea of a good adhesive that I can use to fix this otherwise nice film holder

Round toothpick or sewing needle. Elmers ot titebond, Your'e just going to
barely dampen the wood OR put a drop on & wipe it off.

I've used carefully on old holder with no problem. If there is any squeeze out wipe it off with a damp
not wet thing.

The best thing to do is take it apart and scrape glue residue off. Put it back together using wood glue (not school glue).

+1: Fossilized gunk is your enemy--you want nice clean wood surfaces and glue them with titebond.

No, I don't think I want to take a hammer to it. 5x7" wood film holders aren't that cheap.
