I'm looking for the opaque liquid who serve to fix a hole in the emulsion of a negative.

I can't find any brand or store who sale it.

Do you have an idea?

Try india ink. There are several brands the one I am most familiar with is Higgins. You can get it at Amazon and several other stores on the web. You will also need a fine retouching brush.

we used to use this stuff that was like a stick of wax
i don't remember the name or if anyone sells it.

veronica cass used to have a retouching school in FLA.
she'd be able to help you.
unfortunately she passed away in 2008 ...

maybe google retouching supplies (leads, dyes, blades &c ) ?
