I’m reading that 1000ml of Adofix concentrate is good for 90 rolls of film or 450 sheets or 18x24 in paper.

That is 2430 sheets of 8x10 paper per bottle.
A roll of 35mm film is about 8x10in.

does this make sense?
2430 sheets of 8x10 paper
And only
90 sheets of 8x10 film?

thanks!

8x10 sheets are about 20x25 cm, so not much bigger than 18x24.
If you are working with 8x10, that 450 figure will be reduced to about 390 - not 2430.
Film has a lot more silver in it than paper does, so it wouldn't surprise me that the area of paper that can be fixed is four times the area of film that can be fixed.

What Matt wrote. That's the problem with leaving off units of measurements -- 18cm x 24cm is roughly 7"x9.5"

18x24 centimeters...

For a great discussion of fixers in general (although it is a proprietary tech sheet), I suggest reading the Ilford literature: https://www.ilfordphoto.com/amfile/file/download/file/1833/product/711/

Note especially the discussion about different capacities for "general purpose" and "optimum permanence" as well as the shelf lives for various dilutions and amounts and the discussion of two-bath fixation.

Best,

Doremus
