Has any one out there a copy of the instruction manual/instructions for a winder cw to fit onto a hassy 503cw or maybe you could just tell me how to fit the winder to the body, any tips or info much appreciated.

It is a bit tricky and I don't use mine winder very often. I have the instructions at home but I will attempt an explanation from memory.

I believe that it is best to do it after cocking the shutter. Obviously the manual winder handle must be removed first (a small metal release clip on the handle itself to remove it). Then the winder is set in place positioned counter clockwise from its final position. There are two connection points that must be alligned before turning it clockwise to its final position.

thankyou for the swift advice, just 2 more questions: can the mirror lock up be used with the winder fitted? do you still have to wind a new film forward till (1) appears in the film back window using the little film winder handle on the film back or can you put a new film in and fire the shutter via the motor drive untill (1) appears in the film back window?

I don't know that one. I have never done the mirror lock up thing yet, with or without the winder.

You can do both. I do the former - saves battery power.
