If you like Fisheye pictures and lenses post here. Pictures, equipment and discussion.

I was going to bump this thread, but it is not much of a thread without the images...

Hurry up I cannot hold my breath much longer. I am already turning blue.

Fish-Eye photographs once were a rage, even on both sides of the Iron-Curtain.

Then it kind of calmed down.

I misposted this in the medium format version of the thread.

Band photo for album art, and literally the first time I'd used a fisheye. Amazing how close you can be and still seem way too far away.

Images from 2016 (original post) that disappeared, now re-posted:

Yashica ML 15mm. I think these are pretty rare. I don't think there are many of these out there. If you have one, please chime in!
I used this for the icicle picture above.
It is a pretty high quality lens. Built in filters and the lens cap is machined aluminum with felt lining.

I took a Minolta Rokkor-X 16mm f2.8 Fisheye, and adapted it to a Mamiya/Sekor RB67 120 film back. It takes great circular-fisheye, medium-format images, so I'll just mention it -- and not show them.

Fair game here, please show and tell more!

I keep expecting to see conductors' batons in the hands in ic-racer's fisheye photos.

Nice!

The Nikkor 16mm is on my short list of Nikkor lenses to buy before they go out of production.

I see Sirius Glass already has one!
