It was sent to Firstcall customers by email by the previous owner Rodney Bates. Hopefully an update on the site soon.
 
I can confirm that I received the same email from Rodney Bates. He's earned his retirement and I wish him well. I also hope that Firstcall continues without substantial change. Certainly the website and telephone number are to remain.
 
A week ago I ordered some CMS 20 II from FirstCall: today I've had confirmation from TFC that the film has been despatched and from UPS that it should be here on Thursday. So it looks as if something's working.

The one niggle I had with FirstCall was that their postage to this remote part of the "UK" was so expensive; but they aren't the only online retailer with that drawback.
 
Postage was sometimes prohibitively expensive but their service was always excellent and the printed catalogue was a thing of beauty. The website still gives an air of "quality supplier run by folk who know photography".
 
I received a Valoi 360 scanning kit from them yesterday. It was delayed because they moved operations to a new warehouse last week.
 
FirstCall are a great company and pre-Brexit were my preference for orders to Ireland. It hope they continue to thrive under their new owners. But since Brexit, I just can't order from the UK, it's not just the increase in price, it's also problems at customs. I now stick to EU dealers, cheaper and faster.
