So I developed my first roll of e6. Astia film. I love the results but there is something about that film that I hate when loading into my hewes reels. I have zero issues with other films but this one seems to give me issues. The first few shots (where its loaded) have bent edges....this happened with 4 of the 5 rolls I processed. Anyway here is quick shot I did of my wife around 3 weeks ago. She had the baby a few days later!

Congratulations on the E6 developing, the dog and the baby...and oh yeah, the dog may get jealous. Boy or girl? The baby, I mean.
I've only ever used Paterson reels for E6 and C41, in a Paterson Auto Colortherm. I use Hewes reels for all my B&W and have never had any particular issue with any particular film type.
Maybe the Astia film base is thinner than most?
