So I got a roll developed & scanned at the local lab. There are some light orbs at the top center of the photo, the lab technician told me it could be that the film was slightly bent. There are a few pics with some light leaks as well. Besides this there are several spots / dots on the pictures. I had recently got this camera cleaned from a local reputable repair guy. I need to certainly push another roll through properly to make sure that the problem is with the roll this time around & not with the camera. And this was the first roll Ive ever shot with a slr camera!!

They are certainly all identical in shape and location on the images, I would be checking the lens for issues.

Don't waste a film.

Lock up mirror.

Look through the camera shutter opening before and after firing shutter.

If you can see light through the fabric you need black fabric paint

Apply to both sides of blind and don't fire or wind shutter for 48 hours.

Then do other blind...

I think this could be it!! Mirror locked up, pointed a small torch through the lens & the light leaked through. I think I will go back to the repair guy & get it done from him. There seems to be also lot of dust on the images, could it be the lens?

Dust on lens won't show on photos.

Dust in camera will show on photos.

If repair man did not address shutter 1st time Id not go back...

Pot of black fabric paint cheap, new shutter expensive...

That dust is probably on the film during scanning or introduced during processing or drying.
Dust in the camera and getting on the film during exposure would produce black spots in the print.

Just because the curtain has holes, it does not mean that it is for the dustbin. Get some Black Liquid Tape and apply just a tinny portion with a toothpick on the holes.
First with the shutter released do the rear/second curtain. Let it cure for as long as your liquid tape requires, and wind your shutter to do the other first curtain.
And that's it. Piece of cake.

A shutter replacement could be more expensive than replacement camera, depending on labour rates and camera prices.

But black fabric paint cheap...

The light marks in your first photo look like blurred birds. I like these artifacts.

Thus sometimes a broken camera can be beneficial.

I wonder those photos don't show any characteristics of Zuiko lens. Third photo is from Mumbai area...
