You should take a look at Lois Conner's work if you haven't yet, a real eye opener. She works in 7x17, and the way she tells it, at first she was using it as she did her other cameras, with single subjects, more or less in the middle of the frame. Eventually she started using it more as a scroll painting, as a developing story accross the page, and she really does some very interesting things w the format. She usually has several elements that you can't take in (or predict) at one glance, which forces you to 'read' the photo back and forth. If (or when) I try my hand at a pano format, it would be with her example in mind. Take care, and keep em coming. I'm just starting out on 8x10 myself, so can identify w the feeling of newness.
