First meeting of the Calgary Large Format Users Group tonite

I am organizing this with the cooperation of a local photo store. They emailed the date and time out to their mailing list and I get to take it from there.

GreyWolf, Ian Greant are suppose to show up and hopefully Ken Miller too. We have had a pretty good response to the email so will keep you posted.

I am going to try real hard to make sure this group doesn't become a "club" with all the usual BS that goes with that.

It's amazing how many LF'ers came out of the woodwork.

Good luck Eric, it's always a great idea to put like minds together hopefully you'll enspire and motivate each other. Look at AA i hear they throw great parties!

Good luck - we've put together a similar group in NE Florida/SE Georgia - no meetings, no officers, no dues, no contests - thus no club. We get together once a month and go somewhere to take photographs and talk shop. Great fun.

That'll teach ya Ian! Actually we had about 15 people. I waited downstairs until about 10 after for ya big guy, but everyone was waiting up stairs so had to go. The next meeting is Nov 25th. Email me your tele number so I can let you know what went on.
