I sometimes come across pictures I have never seen before like these by HCB, namely - New York, 1960. And At the Le Mans Auto Race, France, 1966.

It makes me think I may as well give up photography.

clive - I think we can spend the rest of our lives discovering and re-discovering HCB.

But give up photography because we'll never compare to (arguably) the greatest photojournalist of all time?

I say we ought to spend our entire lives photographing, trying to catch HCB, and fail miserably.
