I'm in need of a "lens mount spring" for a Nikon FE2.
It couples the lens to the cameras metering system, the part number is (1K225-075-1).
It's made of thin fine wire and maybe 1.5 inches long or less.

I haven't found one.
I wonder if someone has a "source for springs" where I might find something that I could make work?

I suppose the easier way is to find a beater FE2 for spare parts - but if you need springs, here you go: Dead Link Removed

what type of spring is it? What gage is the wire?

Ive used guitar strings, AKA music wire, to make springs. Comes in many gages as well as materials.
