Seems like you are pretty close to Atlanta, so there should be something good there. Maybe call KEH and ask for a recommendation.

There is one lab in downtown Atlanta that does a pretty good job. But it is far enough away that I would send my film to them so if I am going to send it away I want to find a great lab!

I am ashamed to say that a hugh city like Atlanta only has one real lab, "E-Six".

Dale Labs (dalelabs.com) does a wonderful job with all of the mail orders I send them. They will process and scan E-6 and C-41 for you. I highly reccomend them. You can go to their website and request mailers.

Dear stradibarrius,

Dwayne's does a great job. Negatives come out clean and supplied scans need little retouching.

Maybe I'm funny, but my color I just take to CVS in town to get developed. $2.50/roll for just developing and I scan the negatives and print here at home. Atlanta is too far away for me on my limited budget right now. And black and white I'm learning how to develop at home. Eventually when I have enough confidence with that then I may try C41 at home too.

No Meteor is gone. E-Six is the only lab in town. McFortner, I was using Walmart here in Monroe but the took the developing machine out and only do digital now. I develop my on B&W but I do not have a scanner. I also have an enlarger and have had some encouraging results printing B&W.

What I would love to know is if anybody in the Atlanta area sells photo chemicals anymore? I would love to shop locally (especially on the south side of the metro area) as opposed to ordering online. I hate having to wait for shipments!

And since I don't have enough room in the bathroom for a darkroom, all I have is a changing bag and a daylight developing tank. So I bought a $99 scanner and use that to scan in my negatives and I can print on the computer.
