Filters for the Brownie Hawkeye Flash Model

I've been playing around with a Brownie Hawkeye Flash model my sister in law sent me a few months ago. I did pick up a No. 13 close up filter for some fun. But I wanted to add a few filters for B&W film. Research from the internet has suggestions like the Kodak Series V filter adapter with appropriate filters and the Kodak No. 13 cloud filter (yellow).

Decades ago, I purchased a Sigma 600mm f/8 mirror lens which came with a very small rear slide in filter set. The filters are 22.5mm and they fit/screw into the Hawkeye's outer lens ring. The filters are yellow, orange, red, and a ND4. YMMV but the filters I have fit, kind of screw in, a couple of threads deep and seem to be secure. I've used the yellow filter with B&W film and it did make a slight difference with the clouds in the sky.

Starting with a Kodak Series V push-on filter holder on my Hawkeye Brownie, I have added several step-up rings to get to 58 mm, which is the size of many of my screw-on filters. If the filters are too big, they block the viewfinder excessively. The filters have the same effect they would on other cameras, e.g., yellow has a modest effect and red has a dramatic effect. My Brownie Cresta II can also take a push-on filter holder though the Cresta has a built-in yellow filter. The Cresta, while similar to the Hawkeye, has the advantage of natively using 120 film.
