Hi ,

I have recently purchased Hasselblad 50 mm C T* lens which uses Series 8 filter. The other lenses are Hasselblad 80mm C T* (B50) filter thread and CF T* 180 mm f4 (B60) lenses.
With all the 3 lenses having 3 different filter thread I am confused as to how can I use a single filter system for all the 3.

I already have 77mm B+W red , orange and yellow filters that I wish to use for all the 3 lenses.

Is it possible to buy adapters fro Series 8 , B50 and B60 to use B+W 77 mm filters ?

Request your help in this regard.

Regards,
Abhishek

The earlier 50's had the filters, later ones had bayonet bay 60 filters like the other lenses. You can get an adapter to the b60 from the threads.

if I want to use filters on my Hasselblad ( usually only when I use B&W ) I just HOLD them over the lens ! I have some fitting the Pentax 6x7 and some from a Russian MTO 500mm lens I bought in the 1960's which came with a good set of large filters.
here is one of my FIRST ROLL on my 2002 bought 501CM holding over a RED Russian MTO 500 filter

BAy 50 to Bay 60 and Bay 60 to 67mm adapters are available as are 67-77 step up rings

I have had no luck finding the Series VIII to anything adapter and have relied on holding a filter on with tape

Series Vlll is a 67mm thread but it has a slightly different pitch than a standard filter

Good news though. The 67->Series Vlll or 67-77mm adapter will fit & allow you to use your filters.

Two cautions. Don't over tighten the adapter on the lens and don't forget to remove everything before you wander off. (ya don't wanta lose anything)

Get a B60 to 67mm adapter and a 67 to 77mm adapter for your filters.

C lenses are the older B50, the 50 uses Sereis Vlll
