For those that may have a 135mm Rodenstock Sironar N lens and are using filters with it, what filter holder system are you using if you resort to using the square slide-in filters for in front of the lens. I've been looking at the Benro filter holder but am having difficulty finding a lens ring for the 135 Sironar N (40.5 mm) so that the holder can attach to the lens. Perhaps one does not exist that small as the smallest I've seen so far is 54 or so mm in size. Thanks.
I use the Cokin holder (and different lenses than you) and I found that I have lots of lenses with threads that cokin doesn't make a mounting disk for. So I have a number of step-up rings to get me to a size that cokin does have--usually it a step up to 49mm. So for you, something like:
Size:30mm 37mm 40.5mm 43mm 46mm 49mm 52mm. No other filter has done as much to improve landscape photography as the filter. Add color selectively while leaving the rest of scene unaffected. Using the right full blue filter will ensure that the image maintains a natural appearance.
