I´ve looked at the sponsors of APUG and saw ADOX. I clicked on it and ended up at their page. Then I clicked on ADOX films and then finaly clicked on CMS films. I just wonder if I can shoot with this film with my Pentax MX. The slowest ASA on my camera is 32. Can I use this film anyway?

Set your camera to 32 and over expose by two stops as this film is two stops slower at ASA 20.

Since when is 20 two stops less than 32?

20 should be about a 2/3 stop less than 32. So set your camera at 32 and overexpose by 2/3 stop, or 1 stop for simplicity.

Set the ASA to 32. Them set the compensation dial to to the second dot towards the 2x. While the 32 is the slowest it is that way to give full rang on the compensation dial

The problem with the MX is that it don´t have a compensation dial. How do I do then? Should I overexpose one stop?

You'll have to keep it in your brain the open up one stup, or slow the shutter by 1 stop compared to what your meter tells you. Can be a pain but it's what'll have to work.

Or you can give in to GAS and jusy buy another body that does have a compensation dial

What´s GAS? you´ve to excuse me for asking stupid questions about your terms in enhlish. I´m used to write these qustions in a swedish forum for photograpy so I´m learning as I go along.

I´m bidding on a Pentax MV on a biddingsite called Tradera, and it´s the swedish version of Ebay. And I think this camera have a compensation dial. But I´m not sure. I can hope that it have lower ASA than the MX that I have. But I can move the dial for ASA one click below 32. How low is that?

GAS is Gear Acquisition Syndrome. You buy photographic gear til your savings account is empty and credit card limit is full

MV has ISO range of 32-1600 and NO compensation dial. MV would be waste of money, as it has only AUTO (aperture preference that is), 1/100 and B shutter speed settings.
K1000SE goes down to 20, KX to 16. Both are full-metal cameras, a bit larger than MX.

The MV is for my son as a birthdaypresent, and he´s only 8. Ok, then I should go for a larger camera. I want two body because I want to have one with colorneg. film or colorpos. film and B&W.

The real low end ASA of the camera is 25, the dot below 32. that is 1/3 stop faster then the film. If you expose and light up the over orange instead of center green LED on the meter you should be fine.
