sorry, not enough coffee. my question woulf be if someone has done 13x18 (cm) with this machine.
that it does 5x7 is in the ad.

Hi Chris, there is a combined tank for 5x7" and 13x18cm. The tank is built to fit for both formats.

And I do worry if I could still use a batch of colorfilms stored in the frigo which have been expired two years ago ;-)

A lot can be fixed working hybrid. My workflow:

Nikon Coolscan 5000 ED
VueScan
"Raw scans"
converting with ColorPerfect
Adobe Camera Raw (as filter in Photoshop CC)
further refinement/retouching in Photoshop CC
preferring scripts provided by PixelGenius

So I bypass the scanner software.

But this is OT ;-)

I thought VueScan permits saving in .DNG format, which then allows true RAW editing in ACR?

This photo was unsaveble. Wrecked SOC. However my scanning rig compensates for a lot of issues. I DSLR scan RAW and with a mashup of Lightroom and Photoshop I get decent balanced shots no matter how far gone the film is. This film however I chalked up to being artistic.

C-41: How do you handle stabilizing your colorfilms? In the tank, out of the tank, film on reel or off? It is Said that the stabilizing bath may harm plastic parts.

Don't do the photoflo trick. I was told to do it a while back and since then I've found out it's not a good idea. I've stabbed over 100 rolls in my tank and no issues yet. Reels are fine too.

Thanks I was not sure about this. The stab is needed to make the films durable. Cleaning the reels with hot water after contact with the stab is recommended.

This weekend I will process two colorfilms. Ideal for a busy office worker like me - shooting on weekend, developing on Sunday, scanning and editing the following days in the evening. No extra miles to the lab and back, full control and better results.
