Thanks for responding!
I currently live in South Korea, so I visit Japan often. I’m planning to pass through Hiroshima and figured I could do some camera-treasure-hunting amid some of the second-hand junk shops around there. I can imagine Hiroshima may not be what it used to be, but just curious about second-hand shops “off-the-beaten-path” that haven’t been shopped-out. I’ve gone through some shops in Nagasaki, Osaka, Kyoto, Kumamoto, and Fukuoka amid my travels and found some nice cameras for cheap. Some of the ones in Osaka that were even a bit off the beaten path were completed shopped-out, but the very few in Nagasaki and Kyoto that I did find had used-cameras galore, and I found some rare gems.
What’s a bit odd is that I’ve been all around Japan except for Tokyo, and I know Tokyo would have a ton, so much, I imagine. Many hard-to-find junk shops there?
As for Hiroshima, you say only a few shops? While I plan to visit some tourist spots, perhaps it might not be worth to search around there for hard-to-find junk shops. What do ya think?
