Film und Foto magazine No. 9 (Spanish language)

Hi gang,

Of possible interest to those who read Spanish is the new issue of Film und Foto magazine.

This issue number nine features an in-depth test report on Kodak Ektar, a collective portfolio on Morocco by photographers Bernard Plossu, Xavier Roy, Andrés Viñuela, Jean-Pierre EVRARD, Eric Mannaerts and Antonio Cores; along with other essays and portfolios.

The next issue due out in late November will feature the work of Leslie Krims, in addition to offering a spotlight on new Chinese photography as well as a review of the soon-to-be-released "The Contact Sheet" as well as a test report on the new Argenti NANOTOMIC-X 35mm film + Nanodol developer.

The magazine welcomes submissions in the way of articles and photographic essays. To get a gist of what gets published, please take a few minutes to peruse the indexes of past issues on the website www.maculadeplata.com (in English and Spanish), or pick yourself up a copy.

Curious that the title would use the German article "und" and not the Spanish "y"!

The title of the mag. alludes to the 1929 expo. of the same name held in Stuttgart. It may also intimate its ecclectic verve and pan-national scope.

Thanks, Chris. A shame budget doesn't yet allow for an English-language edition as well. From time to time announcements for calls for submissions will be made, which I will be sure to post on the corresponding forum here on APUG (as was the case with the Morocco portfolio).
