I am selling my Film Toaster Dakota!

You can read about the film toaster here: http://www.filmtoaster.photography/

Mine includes basically everything that was included with it when I bought it, and I'll throw in the 35mm and 4x5 glass holders.*

It has various extra parts in baggies, such as screws, rubber bands, etc. The Rosco light source is great for scanning. It's very bright and has a good CRI for color. Mine has the 67mm mount.

I'm selling it for half of what the new one costs, so $750.00 plus shipping. Selling because I needed a rig that can accomodate larger formats than 4x5. Not only did I use this scanning for personal work, but I also scanned for many many clients. Scans from this FT even went into magazine publication. It was a great tool!

*The glass holders have a slight space in them so very very curled film may have issues, though for good reasonably flat films you can do pass through scanning for full rolls. FT also sells normal scanner type carriers that I would recommend.

Hello! The scanner is still available. I suggest you follow the link in my original ad which will take you to the manufacturer's website. There is a TON of info there to get you up to speed on what it is. For my part I can say that my scans are meeting or exceeding the quality you could expect from Imacon type scanners. Going forward I will do all my fine art with this way. The Film Toaster is a GREAT tool to make camera scanning easy.

Still available! Great scanner for a great price. Unlike other scanners this one gets better every time you buy a new digital camera.

I also included some more pictures that show the film holders you get. Some are 3D printed and allow full roll scanning.
