This is an rare variant of the Rolleiflex Original Standard marked "Made in Germany" both in German and Chinese on the focusing knob. Mostly likely this camera was exported to the Republic of China (the predecessor to People Republic) directly from the Rollei factory in Germany back in the early 1930's when it was made.

The camera appears to be fully working mechanically (advance, shutter speeds) and optically with clean glass (no major issues to note). The viewing screen is a little on the dim side, but most early Rollei's are. This camera uses 120 film. Included is the original lens cap and case, although the case is in bad condition needing stitching, but it does help protect the camera and is very authentic and nice to have.

The sample photos were all with Catlabs ISO 80 B&W film and the fabulous new Kodak Gold 120. This camera is nearly 90 years old and it takes stunning photos! This camera is a lot of fun to use BTW, and like more modern Rolleiflexes has a way of sort bonding with the user. It is also nicely made, easy and light handle, with inspiring build quality really.

I only accept personal checks, cash, or money orders - no exceptions.

Price: $399 plus insured shipping
