I am selling my Rolleiflex 2.8D with a Zeiss Planar taking lens. I just shot a roll of Kodak Gold 200 with this camera over the last three of days and it delivered perfect results on every frame (samples attached). This is the nicest Rolleiflex (maybe even the nicest camera) I've ever owned and used. If I did not already have a 2.8F I'd not dream of parting with this beauty, and quite frankly it's still quite tempting to keep it out of sheer admiration for its mechanical excellence and optical performance.
The camera is in superb condition in all respects. To ensure best results and many years of operation, I also had the taking lens professionally cleaned about three weeks ago. I can find no fault with this camera whatsoever, optically or mechanically, except for some minor dust on the focusing screen, only perceptible when using the magnifier to focus. The 2.8D is one of the less common of the Rolleiflex 2.8 series as only 21,000 were made in 1955. This fact will probably enhance its value as a collectible over time, and trust me, desirable Rolleiflexes are collectible now and will only appreciate in value.
