Film sensitivity to perfumes in cleaning solutions

Hi all,
Wondering if anyone could advise whether perfumes such as those used in cleaning substances will fog film.
I've possibly done a silly thing - trying to remove a mark from a film pressure plate (35mm SLR), I took to it with nail polish remover. While the acetone was reasonably effective at removing the mark, the pressure plate is now alarmingly fragrant. I'm a little concerned this might be bad for the film.
Any advice, including remediation tips, would be much appreciated.

I shall not go into discussing the effect of a fragrant.
But such odour can be removed by blowing with hot air.

Wash/wipe it down with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol.

Thanks AgX and shutterfinger. I tried both methods (99.8% isopropyl alcohol; hair dryer) but there was still quite a bit of the fragrance left. However, it seems to have mostly dissipated overnight with the camera left open. I'll leave it for a few days and see how it goes.

Left it open for about 10 days while I was away and that took care of it well enough - it smells vaguely more floral than the average 44 year old camera but I'll be surprised if it has lasting effects.
