I'd like to view a film roll in addition to normal mounts with my Leitz (no more name) 35mm projector. I can pull off the mount slider, and I think I have seen projectors that can take an unmounted filmroll. Any chance that I can find something like that to put on mine?

Ahh, the old "film strip" projectors of my school days (60's). A memory that is right up there with sniffing a freshly mimeo'd test page.

Your model is a "Prado 150".

The appropriate accessory Leitz film-strip holder/stage is called "SBUUI".

Maybe DIY-work based on a film stage of an enlarger could be an outcome, or adapting a film-strip stage of another projector.

Thanks AgX, that's really useful information. Though it seems to be difficult to find.

With some effort I may be able to make one from wood.
