i have this exact item and it is TERRIFIC for contact printing my 8x10 negatives.

nice base to stabilize the negative and a good amount of space around the negative...easy to judge where the frame edge is...

...just bought an almost new one to reach my original (that came with nicks in the glass from previous user).

even with shipping it is priced very reasonably...yup, i paid more

you might wanna grab that rascal before someone else does

THANKS for the endorsement SG. yes, this is a very nice contact print frame. I use it with my 8x10 negs as well as for proofing four (4) 4x5's at a time or medium format and 35mm. I love it. I have 4 of them ~ a few too many . . . I have been a pack-rat over the years and am running our of room in my darkroom.

you are welcome

i NEVER heard of running out of room in a darkroom - yeah, right!!!

ROTFLMAO...i am approaching that point - just added a beseler XLV 10 (not sure about the nomenature - it is a baseboard mounted 8x10 enlarger).

i'm thinking "vertical storage" - tall shelving may be the answer...we will see. :- )

Out f Room

When I lived in NJ and NY, I had my darkroom in the basement . . . a luxury I no longer have here in Tulsa, OK. I had to build my darkroom in the attic. Space is at a premium! If it continues this way, I am just going to have to move back to the East Coast, where most houses have basements!

As you mow know, 8x10 enlargers take up a lot of room. My Fotar chassis with a Chromega F head takes up a lot of space. Add to that two (2) smaller Omega enlargers and a 4x5 Durst and . . . . you can start seeing how I need a larger attic (or larger house) or a basement.
