Film processor design

Given the fact that very expensive replenished processing machines are routinely getting hauled to the dump for lack of interest, it doesn't make a lot
of sense to reinvent the wheel. I recently turned down free machines originally worth several hundred thousand dollars and still in prime condition.
One can only find space for so much gear. I have designed or tweaked my own big drum processors. I like the idea of simplicity and keeping things
within my own ability to service over the long haul, without being dependent upon estoeric parts or software. But like some of you, I also enjoy
designing things and coming up with a better mousetrap.
