Film or Developer ?

Lots of films, one developer. That gives more flexibility in terms of possible film speeds, which is important to me. Besides, I can always mix my own developer.

p.s. forget about mixing your own soup as that is not allowed.

This is a totally unrealistic restriction, so I reject it.

I'll take any film as long as it's 400TMax and don't much care about the developer as long as it's either ABC pyro or Harvey's 777.

As it is, I've only used one developer and film for the last 15 years. If everyone were on the same page, then we would spend less time talking about it and more time doing it and I bet we could really get more out of every square inch of the film we used.

Dear Peter,

I would choose Xtol. Versatile, neat, clean, easy to mix, and has lots of published data.
