Film lever gears dissasembly

Hello everyone (I'm new to this forum).

I'm trying to repair an old 35mm camera, which shutter works fine, and should be in perfect working order, except for the film advance mechanism. I don't know which model the camera is. The lens is "color isconar" f2.8 45mm.

After a couple of hours, I was able to dissasemble (and reasemble) all except the big metal piece shown in the picture.

The three gears below get stuck at times. The movement from the first gear makes the second and third gear move sometimes, and for a (what it seems to be) random period of the full stroke.

I'm not able to remove the metal part to examine the gears.
Any idea how to work this out?

Isconar is as lens made by Isco in Göttingen. Their camera lenses were typically mounted on cameras of lesser known west-german manufacturers.

If you would fix that guide near the lens again with its two screws, you then should see where the gear train slips. I would expect that fault to be selfexplanatory. Am I wrong?

No. I already know how to remove and put that guide in place, but I cannot reach the gears. I can see when they slip, but I don't know how to solve it.
