Has anybody ever used anything on their iphone or mobile device to keep track of their film inventories? I use the note app for my iPhone, but there should be a better way. When I'm out and see a good deal on film, it's nice to see if I actually need that particular film. I shoot so many different film types, and it is easy to forget what I have. Doesn't look like there is a dedicated film inventory app, but wonder if anyone has converted a checklist app to use for film.

I've actually not see one, but I just created a film exposure database using Tap Forms for my iPhone and may do one for film; I'm always forgetting what I have on hand.

I use Remember the Milk, but I use that for everything. It's just a list app, but a good one, and it syncs across computers and devices (the paid version). Because it lets you put in due dates for assignments, you can use that for expiration dates if you want and it keeps it in expiring order. Not what it's meant for, but it works.

I didn't see one but perhaps you can make one. I have so few films that I always know exactly what I have at any given time.

I made an Android app to keep track of film developer combos for mixing ratios and that sort of thing, I suppose I could tack on some sort of inventory addon for it too.

Not a mobile app, as I don't have a mobile device, but I use an Excel spreadsheet to track my film stash. Is there a spreadsheet for the iphone?

i don't use apps for that, just useless stuff ..

i do it the old fashioned way, and just buy the film
i figure who cares if i have too much, at least i will have some
when i think i am out ... then i have some ...

too much ?! then i have to shoot more. its simple like that

When I'm out and see a good deal on film, ...

There's no place around here to see a good deal on film. Film is sold, yes (Thanks), but no "deals" ...

As for inventory - that's what MS Excel is for. (Or Access, if you have a lot!)

I don't have a smartphone, I just have a whiteboard on the side of my film freezer and some whiteboard pens so I can add or subtract the film as I use or buy it .

I use an Excel spreadsheet, but that means I never have it with me when I need it.

I need to put my inventory into Evernote, which I can get to easily from my phone, home or work computers.
