I like to read Ming Thein's blog and he often writes about film photography. But what I find amazing is that he constantly has to get his film straight from Japan, that in his home country of Malaysia, there is no film to be found. Nor is there any C41 or E6 processing at all so he only shoots black and white film. I just cant believe in Kuala Lumpur film is THAT dead.
Anyone have experience there to counter this? Is he sadly true?
Besides, Kuala Lumpur isn't so far away from Singapore, and in Singapore you can get (almost) all you need as a film photographer.
Just recently a new professional E6 lab has openend there, with a new dip and dunk machine. And offering mail order service: https://www.facebook.com/analogfilmlab
