Film Hanger Question?

Is there a preference for the Kodak film hangers between the ones with the holes around the frame edges vs no holes? Any weirdness with development?

I would always go for film hangers (as opposed to film/plate hangers). By film hangers I mean the kind with a spring-loaded clip for each corner of the film. This is the only kind that has ever worked for me.
