Can I still get Polaroid-type instant film for it? It took Polaroid 669 film. Thanks, Chip

If it is what I am thinking (and the slide printer I have), you can get Fuji FP-100c. It will fit, but is 100 speed. I think the 669 might have been ISO 80, so it isn't really a problem.
This is not the integral film most people think of, but a "peel-apart" film (both the Polaroid and Fuji).

This is the printer I am thinking it is:

Yes, Truzi, that's my printer. I plan to superimpose negs & slides and copy them that way. Thanks very much to you all,. Chip

It is a fun unit. Read the directions carefully, though. I'd never used this type of instant film before and loaded it wrong the first time. I'd routed the paper leader you pull through the wrong area. My first pack of film was a waste, lol.

Don't feel bad. I guarantee you aren't the first.

These do look interesting. What do they do…copy the slide to the polaroid I imagine? Can you put more than one slide at a time to better utilize the polaroid real estate?

I'm I thinking correctly here?

It is positive film. Basically, you get a 3.25" x 4.25" positive print from a slide. If you use a negative, the print will look like the negative (it doesn't reverse it). The print quality can be quite good.
It doesn't do much else unless you get creative.

You could probably sandwich a couple pieces of film to superimpose, or even do multiple exposures using a different slide each time (though I don't think the print would come out very well). They had models with bellows that would do 8x10 prints. I suppose you could modify one of those for interesting purposes.
