I got a new film door to replace the one on my Yashica FX-2.

This is a metal, manual, mechanical camera from the mid seventies ... nothing fancy, and I think the door hinge is probably a fairly common design.

But I don't know how to take it off.

Does anyone know how film doors come off?

Also, how I take the film plate off the old door and attach it to the new one?

I'd like to do this repair myself, if possible, and save a few bucks, since everything else on the camera works perfectly. (I will also be replacing the light seals).

Any advice is appreciated!
