film developer combo

I am wondering what are the good combination for film/developer. It used to be apx100/rodinal, and tri-x/xtol. Are there any new combos with say adox, and foma films?

I'm afraid it is as many film-developer-photographers combo !
Which developer do you like ?
Then use it, test it with Foma and Adox.
Rodinal works great with everything but it's one of my combo.

I like xtol and diafine, with rodinal being favorite on a slower films. I think rodinal is pretty good with foma 100 and adox 50, I would be interested to hear what other people like with new films manufactured in Europe.

Rodinal is by far my favorite dev with everything, especially Tri-x and even D3200.
It all depends on dilution and agitation.
I used to shoot Efke 25 in Rodinal (1+50) it was great.

I recently settled to Foma 400(arista) in 4x5.
Did some test with Wd2D+ and Rodinal both were great to my taste.
But to be able to process batches quickly I finally found D23 replenished.

So if you try Foma 400 in Rodinal you cannot go wrong.
Didn't try the 100.
