Yes, rarer than a virgin Chi Omega at UCLA, but who knows?

If you have one but don't want to sell, perhaps provide dimensions so that someone might be able to 3D print new cassettes?

Thanks!

I may be inclined to sell the Ducati if the price is right. Will need a CLA; I picked it up at an auction, and it had sat unused for quite some time. Speeds down to 1/50th sound good, but there's a crease in the curtain fabric that holds the curtain open at 1/20th and slower. Rangefinder appears good, lens/glass is clean and clear, and even has the leather case!

Can 3D printed cassettes be made light proof in the material, or with a mat surface?

I was thinking about printed caps, and sheet metal for the body. Printing in nickel would be light proof. The spool inside can be black plastic.

Will nickel no react with films and why no tin or brass?

I'll be happy to hear about and see your finished product, including the caps.

Godspeed,
Eli

So you're the lucky one who won that auction. When I saw where it was headed two days before the close, I decided to not even entertain a bid on it

The camera is mostly nickel! Don't know if you can print in tin or brass.

I'm thinking more along the lines of loading the cassette shortly before shooting, and unloading into a 35mm plastic can afterward (if you have just one cassette).

Almost think you'd be better off just folding metal shim stock, instead of 3d printing... Are there any mechanicals to the Ducatli cassette, like the Univex Mercury I, or is it just a shaped bin, like the Agfa Memo?

Looks like I cannot add images or attachments to classifieds, so I'll have to send those as a PM. But meanwhile, here are dimensions (in millimeters):

Overall length: 40.8
Diameter: 15.4
Spool dia at ends: 9.7
