I've decided to standardize on HD Polycron and PrintFile hanging file pages for storage of my slides and negatives. I'm having a hard time finding a file cabinet with drawers deep enough to hold the pages. (The HD Polycron pages are 10 1/4" on the short side.) Does anyone know of a supplier who sells metal filing cabinets with extra deep drawers?

You guys use weird non standard paper sizes, unlike Europe and other parts of the civilised world.

More seriously check out second hand office supply companies, you must have them. Here in europe you'd need an A4 filing cabinet.

Hadn't thought of that! I see that Staples carries a few (very expensive) A4-sized filing cabinets, but none of them are metal. Does anyone know of a US supplier for new A4 cabinets that won't require a second mortgage?

Look at SteelCase. One of the largest manufactures in the US.

Staples are here in Europe too and quite cheap, best prices for any chain for laptps or PC's.

And their furniture is very inexpensive

My metal A4 filing cabinets and desks etc were ex American Express, or British MOD, about 30 years ago !

You might try second hand office furniture stores. They have inventory from out of business business'. You might find what you want and only require a little clean-up to look new.

Good Luck,
