I got an original version of a Canon Demi, that incorporates that "Light Value Program", basically put....

"Shutter speed : B, 1/30 sec. at f2.8 (EV 8) - 1/250 sec. at f22 (EV 17)"

Meaning whatever aperture I set, directly sets a shutter thats always the same since I assume it goes from EV8 upto EV17, and the appropiate one is whatever the exposure is outside regardless if the shutter speed is appropiate for the scene or not (or aperture for that value).

My question of course is while it shows 1/30th and 1/250 as the shutter speed, it does not show any shutters in between. So I'm trying to get an idea what shutter speeds are chosen for f/16 down to f/4. From there I can figure the relative EV at each aperture selection if I ever decide to use my handheld meter when using film over ISO 400 (which the in-camera meter can't tell me), since my meter can give me straight EV readings (though not hard to do otherwise).

When trying to figure how many numbers in increment would end at 17 I came up with 1.5

2.8 - 8
4 - 9.5
5.6 - 11
8 - 12.5
11 - 14
16 - 15.5
22 - 17

so i guess i'll just try to figure what shutter speed matches those EVs.

EDIT
Let me know if I did this right

2.8 - 8 - 1/30
4 - 9.5 - 1/45?
5.6 - 11 - 1/60?
8 - 12.5 - 1/90?
11 - 14 - 1/125?
16 - 15.5 - 1/185?
22 - 17 - 1/250
