Exactly and that is why I have been selling off stuff recently. I'm even thinking of selling my sweet Harry Fleenor-ed Rolleiflex 2.8E, as I also have a 2.8GX. And while the E is definitely nicer built, the GX is the better tool as it has the built in spot meter, brighter focusing screen, and "modern" coatings on the lens. I just wish they built the GX/FX on the older 2.8 chassis...
I have bought and I have sold many many cameras. The one I regret selling was a Rollei 2.8FX. It was the best MF camera I ever had simply because it was small, light, had an accurate meter, a bright screen, a stellar lens and it wasn't falling apart like a 50 year old camera. I bought it and sold it and made a bit of money on it. I just wish I never sold it because even the closest GX I can find is 2x what I paid for it. If I landed a million $ somehow I'd put an ad for a 2.8FX-N and pay whatever they asked for.
