I'm going to try making a large print on roll paper (only set up for graded paper right now) and have found a couple options. I want to try J&C Nuance but I'll have to wait for them to open up shop. Meanwhile, I see B&H has Bergger (expensive) and Kentmere Bromide and Kentona. Are there other choices out there? Would Dektol be fine with Kentmere Bromide?

Thanks for any recommendations.

Try to keep an eye open. I just bought three 42" rolls of forte polywarmtone off ebay for $99 a pop! (yes - I'm gloating!). Just look frequently - and do google searches! You'd be surprised at what's out there if you just do a bit of homework...

Ok, cool. Even so, it'd be nice to standardize on and get used to a currently available paper.

The only thing to watch out for is - depending on your lightsource... you'll PROBABLY need about a grade softer than whatever paper you're doing 8x10 with. It's a reciprocity thing... but try to take samples of the same paper and place them at the locations of known highlights and shadows in the mural for a quick test and see where they land on the scale...

Interesting. I think I'd always heard that you may need to bump UP a grade. I'm using cold light.

Ilford makes roll paper on Warmtone and MG4. I use both of them. The consistancey is reliable.
