Ferricyanide Bleach Chemistry Question..

Let's take a simple bleach.. just potassium ferricyanide and a halide salt like sodium chloride or potassium bromide.

While the bleach is actively working on a film, what reactions happen to the halide salt?

And does the ferricyanide simply get reduced to ferrocyanide or another form?
