Ferrania?, using expired film

Shot this a couple of weeks ago. The box is marked Bilo, Finest. All the boxes say, This is not Kodak. A few of the boxes say made in Italy, and a few say manufactured in Italy and assembled in USA. What ever it is I shot it at 50, it was 200 speed. Pictures shot in bright sunlight seem to come out pretty good. It was processed at CVS one hr. Shot with a Zenit E, Industar 50-2 lens. This picture was shot wide open. You can see the vignette in the corners. This roll expired in 2000. I have about 40 rolls or so I bought at a bent and dent warehouse for 50 cents a box. I'll try a few more rolls in bright sunlight, not difficult here in Florida and see how they come out. J. Day Lillies, Ferrania.jpg

"Bent and dent warehouse." Hummm. I guess I know what that is. But -- were the rolls bented or dented? Just curious.

The warehouse is where expired, bent or dent store items go to die. Imagine half the items from a large box store past their expiration dates or out of style or replaced with something more trendy, modern ,digital. The old stuff is delivered to this warehouse by the truck load. There was a process camera here about 10 years ago. I went to buy it, but it would not fit in the back of my pickup, it got sold for scrap. J

If you find that you like Ferrania film, you're in luck: it's coming back. Dead Link Removed

Then there is this, not exactly 35 but 40... cm... and very old. At least 30 years, probably more, and never opened (just like the packs sitting next to it).
