Great, Andy. A compare that contrast video on P30, P33. Ilford Ortho 80 Plus and Foma Ortho 400 may be just what the doctor ordered

Your videos always tell it like it is and cover the nuances very well

I have some Foma Ortho 400 also. I just got it and haven't tried it yet. From what I've seen as far as reviews go seem to indicate that it's a very good product. My pre-winter house and yard work is holding me up from using it at the moment.

The issue with (or main feature of) Foma Ortho 400 is the severe (and I mean *severe*) highlight halation.

In my experience with the film, this results in all but the lowest contrast images having a dreamy look, with fuzzy glowing highlights that personally don't fit my style of photography. A 400 iso sibling of Ilford Ortho 80 it is not.

Personally I won't be buying it anymore.

That's good to know and I'll be watching for it. I think it (the dreamy look) would be of use for me in certain situations, but certainly not all. It might have worked just fine for Andys shots of that old Marc and gave the shot an "aged" look.
