Feedback on a lens please!

I found a really good deal on the below lens in good condition

Nikon 70-210mm f4

The reviews i have read are somewhat contradicting so i hope any current and/or previous users might shed some light on its performance.

It's quite well known as a good budget Nikon tele lens. I used to own the slower 4-5.6 version (pretty sure the optics are essentially the same) and I got some nice shots from it. If you use the AF a lot, the f4 version is supposed to have faster focus.

I have one and it's everything it's supposed to be. There are low contrast focusing issues but I just manually focus it. Someone told me it was a slow focusing lens but I use it on my F5 and nothing is slow on that monster. And here's the article that sold me on it.
