Does anyone know what is the bottom hole diameter of this style of take up spool.
My tenax came with this kind of spool and it is wobbly so I have to push in a rubber grommet.

I measured two, one from a Zorki I and the other from a Fed 3. They are both 14/32". Sorry, I don't have a metric micrometer. are they supposed to be compatible with a Tenax?

Thanks but I mean the other end. I don't have enough knowledge about tenax other than mine came with a wobbly spool that looks like generic ones and I suspect it is for Fed or Zorky. My Tenax has short stud on the bottom that mates with the spool and it has approx 5 mm diameter.

Is it the Tenax I, like this?

You might at least estimate the dimensions from that photo at Flickr.

Or, it looks like you could wind the film into a take-up cassette instead, if you can't make a spool fit well (of course, there's still a spool, in the cassette, but I suppose the cassette will steady the spool somewhat). I have a Voigtländer Vito that came without a spool, which works fine with two cassettes. You have still somehow to attach the film to the spool of the 'uptake cassette'; I use an old Ilford one which has ends that pop off easily, and use a scrap of tape to attach the film.

My question is about the size of fed/zorki spool. If the diameter of the lower hole is 5,mm or so then that's what I will buy.
I can use the current spool which has larger diameter. Like I said I have to use rubber grommet and the grommet falls off once in a while. I am sure it will fall and disappear.

Here are some dimensions that I took on Zorki I standard take-up spool:

The lower hole is wider than 5 mm, it's 6.5 mm. In addition, the outer diameter of that threaded thing is 9 mm. Let me know if you need some more measurements!

I have another spool as well, that one's from FED-2 camera and its hole is 4.5 mm wide.

Do you have pictures of the one with 4.5 mm?

Sure! Here they are:

The spool of FED-2 is 44.5 mm long, the hole which accommodates the camera's advance shaft has a diameter of 11.2 mm, the hole on the other end has a diameter of 4.5 mm and the outer thread is 7.2 mm, or so.

Arithmetic is not hard folks - 14 divided by 32 = 0.4375", 0.4375" times 25.4mm per inch = 11.1mm
