It is well known that some films and papers are made for each other because of their complimentary characteristic curves and that some combos hate each other. Just wondering what others have found to be good film/paper pairings?
My favourite combo was Verichrome Pan (developed in PMK) onto the old Agfa FB MCC.
I also loved the way FP4+ printed onto the last Kodak RC paper (can't remember its name)
my favorite is tmy processed in caffenol until you can't see through it, contact printed with a 300watt light bulb onto expired polymax rc paper developed in ansco130. match made in heaven !
My favorite films & papers are no longer made; APX 25, Pan-X and K25. My favorite papers are no longer made, but I had several; old Agfa FB, Kodak FB, and some of niche papers by Luminos. Today it would be FP-4 in Rodinal printed on Ilford Gallerie.
